News Updates from Cedarbrae Centre The new and improved Cedarbrae! Some exciting changes have taken place at Cedarbrae Centre in 2024. The former 120,000+ sf Walmart box facing Lawrence Avenue East, was demised and replaced by 24 individual mixed-use units that have been leased to key national and local retailers, to better serve the Scarborough neighbourhood. In Q2 of 2024, we unveiled the new portion of Cedarbrae Centre! The two-story space features extensive exterior upgrades including fresh store front facades, additional public space, smoothly paved sidewalks and parking lot, and a convenient new main entry to the mall. The 16 individual ground floor units consist of several larger format spaces facing the exterior of the mall, as well as many small-sized interior-facing units catering to local businesses. Cedarbrae Centre serves the surrounding family-oriented neighbourhoods with over 103,325 households and a population exceeding 291,400 within a 5km radius. First Capital is pleased to contribute to the growth and revitalization of the Cedarbrae community and continue our work in building thriving neighbourhoods.
